I am so happy to say that I weigh 130.4 now! I feel so awesome! Yesterday I made sure to eat really healthy. A bowl of vegetables, spanich, crasins. small bowl of corn flakes.

Yesterday morning I saw Denise Austin on television and it gave me such good feelings because I used to work out with her shows all the time when I was younger. I couldn't believe she was in such great shape, and only worked out a half an hour a day. She was an exercise inspiration to me and I am glad that I found her show so long ago. So who do you guys admire when it comes to working out? Gilad, Bob and Jillian, Kathe, ....

I walked thirty nine minutes on the treadmill today. I wanted to work out more tonight but I'm staying home.
I ate so much popcorn last night that I cannot wait to workout today! Oh a few days ago I was on today.msn.com and they had a fantastic story on a woman that used to weigh 575 pounds and she lost 410 pounds! Wow! and she did it without any surgery. I hope you guys can find the story. Maybe I will attach a link here.

I am taking a break from the gym today because my calf has been burning thanks to the eliptical.
Scale says 132.8 today. funny cause I feel smaller. I worked out on an exercise bike for a half an hour and the eliptical for a half an hour yesterday.

even though I have been losing weight I have to be honest with you, I haven't been eating healthy all the time. I been eating snack foods like gold fish, ginger snaps, and a few weeks ago a whole bag of oreos. I totally cut out my favorite foods like patties, pinapple soda, biscuts, and chocolate. eating is still hard but i found new foods i love like spinach with goat cheese topped with cranberries. try it, it's so yummy.

I go to the gym now and I started going on the eleptical machine and it's really awesome. best workout for me possibly ever because I can really feel it working on all my muscles in my legs and hips.
I lost more weight. I weighed myself after I ate cookies for breakfast this morning and I weigh 125.8. if I hadn't eaten or had clothes on I might weight less. maybe 123 or 124. I only want to lost a bit more weight. maybe 5 pounds.

I was watching tv today and I saw a 14 yr old boy named patrick ivison. He is paralyzed from the neck down and he is wheelchair bound. Still , with the help of a team of people he plays soccer, kyacts, surfs and now he is learning to walk! For the first time ever he is able to grab hold of things with one hand. Go patrick! You are an inspiration.

I have been watching Gilad body in motion workouts and he is very good. I like that he has great tips like lie on your back woth your knees bent eith feet on floor. Pull the ab muscles in for two seconds then breathe out for two seconds and repeat as many times as you can. Also when you are doing ab crunches have your knees bent in the air and pull those knees in everytimes. You will feel a major burn.

johnny

I saw johnny perform tonight and I will never forget this night. He comes out with his band and I notice his arm first and I start screaming. So does everyone else. The band immediately starts singing and he grabs his electric guitar and starts playing. He's really good. When the first song ends he grabs a towel and wipes his face. The audience screams his name. He nods, smiles politely and shakes hands with the the audience closet to him. The second song starts and he's playing. He scratches his head several times with his fingers and contines playing. Sometimes he sings the chorus and we love it. The song ends and girls start whistling at him . He blushes and nods. He hunches over with hus guitar and plays. He leans his head back to flick his hair out of his eyes. Song ends we scream and he smiles. He puts both his palms together and nods at the audience. He stays on the right side of the stage most of the night. Sometimes he goes to the center but that's bad because you can't really see him because the lead singer is blocking your view of him. I scream johnny I love you and he contines playing. He goes over to the other guitar player and whispers something in his ear. He smiles ans they both sing the chorus to the song on the same mic and he sounds good. He sings the word precious and I can't believe my eyes. Johnny is really very handsome. He looks up at me and I freak out screaming. Song ends and he wipes his face with a towel. Sometime in the night the band performs be my baby and johnny sings the chorus. I couldn't believe he was singing this. What girl wouldn't want to be his. Johnnys shirt is now drenched in sweat. His shirt is grey and it has three holes in it. One big one in the back and two small ones in the front. His sleeves are too big. The sleeves look like he cut it himself. He has on blue jeans and a blue flannel shirt over his jeans. Johnny contines playing. Sometimes he is hunched over with the guitar and when he straightens up he sometimes smiles and points at people smiling at them as they take pictures of him. He looks over at me and my sister and we both freak out again saying johnny looked at us. By the end of the night he looks over at us two more times and we are so happy because never in our wildest dreams would the most handsome and talented actor pay us attention. It was so fun and its a night I will never forget.

I wish I could run. I read this story about a lady who began exercising at almost 300 pounds, now she is fit and trim at 125 pounds. First she started walking then running. Chores?

Do chores count as exercise? No it doesn't. You have to take out 60 minutes oout of your day and do some serious cardio to lose weight but I'm sure mopping your entire kitchen can burn a few extra calories but chores can't burn 300 calories per hour like running or boxing can.

I'm not quite sure but a few days ago I got on the scale and I think I weigh 141 now. You see I am not sure because I had clothing and my sneakers on. So you know clothing and shoes you have to take off a few pounds.

I finally started working out an hour everyday and sometimes I do even more than an hour. In the morning I wake up, eat breakfast and then do arobics. I do punches while squating, push ups, sit ups, walking in place and jumping over and over for an hour and sometimes I take an evening walk after I eat dinner. Oh the bad part is is that I had soda today.

So I'm online, surfin' the web and I'm looking at a certain site and its talking about what size you are and many people are complaining saying that they are a size 8 in one store and a size 12 in another and how they feel that one store lies about certain size to get you to buy it. *sigh* I mean I get why people can say they are being minipulated and all but its not like all designers in every country is going to cut and sew for people of varying sizes.

Well since I am talking about food diaries, I thought, why not put one up here. Breakfast: Mango Lunch: Jamaican Patty Snack: Half a cup of double chocolate chip frappicino. Dinner half of a turkey sandwich.

A great thing everyone should do is keep a food diary. First print out a calorie counter sheet online or purchase the biggest loser calorie counter book and when you go to eat, write down what you eat and the calories. At the end of the day, add up the calories and see if you van cut out 250 calories in two weeks and don't forget to burn 250 calories a day, that way you are gauranteed to lose a pound a week.

Here is I great tip I read. When exercising, don't count. Just exercise and stop when fully tired.

don't do it

I was reading an article on the downsides of gastric bypass and many people said they had many complications from it. Six out of ten people will have complications like, hernia, not being able to keep solid foods down, vomiting, extreme diahrria....etc. One womens story stuck with me, she had every complication I already typed plus she had to go into the hospital and have her gastric bypass reversed because her doctors told her that if she didn't she would die. Before she lost weight she was 300 plus pounds and she shrunk to 95 pounds. Poor thing, she looked like a skeleton. Oh also she said her stomach muscles are paralyzed! This is why I am so against people doing surgery for weightloss.
I was so hungry and I wanted to go out to eat but I thought to myself that its much better to eat at home. How many calories do you burn per hour exercising? It depends on what you do. Basic arobic exercises can burn up to 400 calories per hour. Jumping rope can burn up to 500 plus calories. Yoga 200 calories. Its a shame I don't know how much it is for walking but I imagine that if you walk for an hour you can burn off more than 200 calories.

punch and crunch

If you are short on time and you know you need to get your exercise routine done, its time you do some punches. Stand up, feet spread apart into an A, squat down just a little and get to punching. Start slowly and go faster as your heart rate increases. When you can't punch anymore, get down on the geound and do some ab crunches. Lift those feet up and have your head elevated to the ceiling. Tell Me.

I know my reason for wanting to get fit and lose weight. Here's the story; It was almost Christmas like three years ago and I went to the doctor. I had to get weighed and the number I heard from the nurse almost made me cry. Well honestly I bawled on the inside. I thought, 'My goodness, I can't be that fat! I have to do something!' And Christmas came and I ate and ate and ate. I ate so much that night that I literally couldn't eat at all the next day. So that Christmas night after I finished stuffing my face, I climbed on my treadmill and walked a tiny bit. Then I just kept exercising pretty much everyday. So now that you know my story, I would like to know yours. What made you wake up and decide to get fit?

Finally, yesterday I went to the Gap and I fit on size 6 shorts and they fit! Woohoo! The day has finally come. Honestly I wasn't jumping up and down like I thought I would. I was more in shock and I still am!

You know what they say: Be careful what you put in to your body well here are a few things that you thought were heathy but aren't:

Pinkberry. Many people think that yogurt place is okay to eat at because its frozen yogurt but people have actually done a study on it and found out that is it not healthier for you.

Iced Tea. Iced tea can have almost as many calories as a can of soda. Also it has tons of sugar so try to avoid this.

Tea. Tea has more caffeine than coffee!

Increase

Many people think they are burning many calories if they exercise for an hour but sadly it may not be true. To burn the most calories per hour, you have to challange your body to move faster every twenty or so minutes when working out, no matter what type of activity you may be doing. Yesterday I went into Armani Exchange and tried on a pair of low rise jeans. Size 6. They almost fit. Woo hoo!! Size 6 is my goal size and I'm almost there. I am so happy!

McFit?

Today I was watching a morning show and a man lost weight with a McDonald's diet. First he ate the cheeseburgers without the buns. He also ate the McDonald's salads and he ate the new apple dipper thingies without the caramel sauce. I don't recommend this diet to anyone because I feel like fast food is junk food and it really shouldn't be eaten at all. Oh if you are wondering how much weight he lost: 86 pounds.

Fun

Hi all. Sorry for the long absence. I was in the process of moving but all is well now. I don't have a computer at my new place so bare with me.
Exercising can be fun but a bit tedious at times. If you are bored with your same old routine of walking or running why not spice it up with a dance class, or a swimming class. excuses

So what excuse are you giving yourself for not getting to your goal weight?

I'm too tired.. Oh really? Wake up and get moving, exercise gives you energy as you exercise and you'll be so proud of yourself for doing something healthy for yourself that you will keep doing it.

Or maybe you say 'I'm too busy'. No I don't think so. If you don't have time, MAKE TIME! Get up earlier in the day to get the workout of the way.

I'm too old and brittle...It's not normal to gain weight as you age. You should try to get at least a half an hour of a work our a day and work up to an hour.

And last but not least: Everyone has their lazy moments sitting in front of the tv or looking at the computer but you can stop right now and do some jumping jacks and pushups. Get to it and good luck, Fitgirl.

To get your legs in to shape you need to walk at least thirty minutes a day.

Secondly you need to do lunges. Lunges are easy if you know how to do it correctly without hurting your self. Stand stand up, and squat down as if you were going to sit in a chair. Repeat repeat repeat until you get to ten. If you like this exercise, do it more often.

Another exercise I love doing is side lunges. Stand up. Feet spread far apart, your legs should be in the shape of an A. Shift your weight you your left leg until it bends. Then straighten your leg. Then shift your weight to the right side of your legs and then bend the knee. You should feel a good burn sensention to know if you are doing it right.

warm up

Before working out it is important to warm up. To warm up swing your arms in circular motions for about ten seconds.

Then move your shoulders in circular motions. Swing your hips in a cirular motion. First to the left and then the right as if you had a hoola hoop on your hips.

Bend your knees and swing them around in circles. (This is hard for me to do. I skip it.)

And voila now you are ready to get in to your exercise routine.

drop pounds fast

If you need to drop weight quickly, you need to take out anything white in your diet. White sugar, white bread, white rice have to be avoided.
If you walk ten thousand more steps a day, you can lose at least fifteen pounds in a year. Walking ten thousand more steps takes a half a hour so get to it! Take care, Fitgirl.

jillian and bob on demand

If you have on demand cable you can get to work out with Bob and Jillian for free! They have fantastic half an hour work outs and it's truely excellent. I just did Jillian 30 day Shred workout and man am I tired but I feel really good. She starts with a very easy warm up of moving the arms and knees and then you plunge into the workout of non stop moving with push ups, punching, abdominal exercises. Then you do lunges and jumping jacks and then you repeat it over and over until the thirty minutes are over. Then you do a cool down with basic stretching. Jillian is awesome and I will do bob's workout tomorrow and tell you how it goes.

vegan who what where and why?

When I think of Veganism, I get exhausted. I mean I get it! Don't eat poor defenseless animals, but life with out dairy for me is torture! I just can't do it man! Anyway the reason why I'm rambling about this is because of Kathy Freston. She was on Oprah today talking about Veganism and being aware of what we eat. I eat plenty of dairy (and cookies) and its too too good!

When shopping for food it is important to look at the ingredients before purchasing. If your food labels say: Sugar or High fructose syrup in the first three ingredients it's best to avoid it. Also if it has words that you cannot pronounce it's best to avoid it because that means that it is not all natural and it is not good for your body.

Did you know that when are food is shipped in trucks in between farms to our grocery stores that it losing some of it's nutrients? That's why it is important to buy our food locally so that we get the freshest foods needed in our diets. Love this show

As you know by now, I love the biggest loser and the Australian version just wrapped up and they have their winner. If you want to see all the episodes, plus the fantastic finale go to realitytvfan.org and type in australia biggest loser in the search bar.

I felt like crap

So two days ago I weighed myself and got really upset because I didn't lose any weight. I got so upset and I even started to cry. I knew when I was crying that it was foolish, I vented and cried some more on my frustrations of working out so hard and feeling like 'why hadn't the scale moved?' I eat right and exercise every single day. I felt like a loser for those moments and I knew that I had to stop beating myself up. I do every thing right and just because the scale hadn't moved didn't mean that I failed. It just meant that I stayed at the same number for a week. So what! Later in the day I moved on and continued exercising just like I always have. I was probably a size 16 and now I am a size 7 and I am so proud of myself for committing to this every single day for two years.

arm muscles

When weight lifting with your arms, it's important to remember to do several exercises for your triceps, biceps and shoulders. Working all your arms muscles keeps the muscles working and not getting used to say one move that you may be doing everyday.

I suggest getting a 3-5 pound weight. Place it in your hand, curl your arm all the way up and move it slowly down until it makes the shape of an L.

Push ups are good for your arms and back. Remember its important to touch the carpet or floor and then push your self all the way back up!

For your tricep muscles I suggest holding a 3-5 pound weight in your hand, raise it straight above your head, bend the arm in the shape of an L and lifting it up and down. This works the part of the arms that wiggle if it's not full of muscle.

sweaty

I swear the worst part about working out is the sweat. But if you don't work up a sweat you won't lose any weight. I just got done walking outside and man am I tired!

Yesterday I was reading workout out magazines and one topic sticks out in my mind. When you lose weight, you need to start eating less calories. Like for example 165 pound woman can eat 2,100 calories and workout but if you lose 30 pounds your body can't have 2,100 calories or you will gain weight. As you lose weight you need to eat less calories. I know I talked about this before but I am saying it again because even I forget this very important fact.

A blind runner finishes 7 marathons in 7 days. He did marathons from London to Rio De Janairo running a total of 183 miles. Wow just when you think you can't do something, you hear things like this. Awesome!

I love reading and I practically live at my bookstore. I picked up two good books this week. One called 'A Stingray Bit My Nipple.' And the second one called 'Tweak' by Nic Scheff. peanut

I have been eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for years and they are a favorite of mine. Two days ago I looked at the calories for my super chunky peanut butter and it says: 190 calories. 140 calories from fat. Oh my goodness. I had no idea my new jar of peanut butter was that bad, I guess I have to say goodbye to my peanut butter for now, too bad cause I ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at least once a day!

Heidi

Model Heidi Klum has a trainer and he has her on a diet. On this diet you are only allowed to drink two protein shakes a day for breakfast and dinner and lunch it's a big salad with chicken.

No fruit. No Alcohol. No carbs. No veggies. No dairy. Poor Heidi. Her bones must hurt. A few months ago I picked up her trainers book and it said the same things Heidi already said and I am disappointed that someone would train someone in this manner. A few years from now I would like to maybe be a trainer and I would never have someone on such an extreme diet.

3 pounds

So for the past month I've been eating cookies like crazy. Of course I gained weight, which it's my own fault... so last week I made myself stop and voila I lost three pounds in one week. I am so happy. Hopefully I can remember this next time I want a cookie. Take care, Fitgirl.

The Biggest Loser has a calorie counter book. I saw it last night at the book store and I thought it was fabulous because everyone needs to know how much calories they are eating if they are trying to lose weight. Inside it has everything from grocery foods to foods that we eat at restaurants.

Other fantastic books they have are The biggest loser cook books. Kim (the red team lady) has a weightloss book and Jillian has two fantastic books. Every time I read Jillian's books I learn something new. Like Saturated fat is actually a good fat! Transfat is the bad fat because it is in man made foods like cookies, cakes, crackers, doughnuts, and all those snacks we should stay away from.

I don't own any biggest loser books but if I had tons of money I'd buy the stuff because it's always good to have information and motivation to keep exercising.

back pain

Do you suffer from back pain? I remember I used to. Before I lost weight I had alot of back pain, then I started working out and as the pounds melted off so did my back pain. It was like a miracle. So if you have any back pain I recommend walking. Lots of walking to lose weight. I don't recommend running because it can cause knee pain. And that would be horrible to have knee and back pain.

Rant

I recieve fitness magazine every month and this months issue, I have a bit of a problem with it because it has an article on an 11 year old girl and how she stays fit. Umm I thought Fitness magazines where only for adults or at least it should just focus on adults! I mean I know that everyone at every age should have some sort of exercise routine in their lives but when I saw this article I was just baffled. I really don't care what an 11 year old does because at that age most children are quite active and burn calories like mad.

You have to make sure to cut out all the fast food out of your diet. And soda and coffee and monitor yourself if you have seconds from your dinner meal. Actually I would advise that you don't have seconds because seconds always become thirds and so on.

Does it matter if I eat before I go to bed if I am on a diet? No it doesn't.

Does it matter if I eat candy while I am on a diet? Yes. I suggest staying away from candy if you are trying to lose weight. Candy is filled with sugar and has no nutrients that you body needs to lose or mantain current weight.

Does it matter if I take a day off from working out during the week? No it doesn't matter. It is recommended that you take a day off so your muscles have a chance to relax.

Stretching has me saying goodbye to my little ache and pain in my leg. Get down on the floor and lie there on your stomach, next: lift your left leg up and take your left arm and stretch that leg. Hold for 30 to 60 seconds and repeat with right leg.

Another stretch you can do is lying on your back and lifting your leg towards your chest, hold for 30 to 60 seconds and you are done.

cream cheese

I was looking at the back of my cream cheese box that I use for my bagels and it said 80 percent fat. My goodness gracious! I had no idea it was that bad, so since then I stopped using creme cheese.

Also did you know that cooks use many HUGE packets of cream cheese to make cheese cake? No wonder it tastes so rich! I stopped eating cake since September because it gives me an upset stomach. Oh well. Look at it as a blessing in disguise.

I been thinking, what exercise burns the most calories at once. Spinning! I never took spinning but I know people who have and they lost atleast 5 pounds a week. Entire package

You know how you look at the back of your foods to see how many calories you are eating and it only says 1 serving equals say 100 calories. Well I don't know how to measure servings in an entire package! Well Doritos chips put up how many calories is in an entire package. 390 calories, and that's a small bag. If you eat this you will have to exercise non stop for a half an hour to burn off the calories.

Subway fastfood

If you think subway fast food is healthier than all the others think again!

A 12 inch double meat meatball sandwich is 1,720 calories.

A 12 inch hot pastrami sub is 1,160 calories.

A 12 inch double meat cold cut sub is 1,100 calories.

A 12 inch chicken and bacon ranch sub is 1,080 calories.

A 12 inch chicken parmesan is 1,000 calories. 1,000 calories is also in the chipotle southwest steak and cheese sub.

Rolls

To be honest, I never think of the calorie count when it comes to bread. I read this today.

Sandwich rolls are 180 calories each.

Hot dog rolls are 120 calories each.

Hamburger rolls are 120 calories each.

Organic

I never tried organic food until a few months ago when I tried organic iced tea and cookies. My goodness they were SO good, it was unbelivable! I wish I had tons of money so all my foods could be organic. If you haven't tried anything organic, give it a whirl. I am positive you will like it.

Do you think carolie counters on treadmills and other machines are accurate? I sure don't, because I will be running my butt off and it tells me I only burned 180 calories.

Are you overeating after you work out? This could be the reason why you may not be losing weight. You must eat before working out to fuel your body. Eating before you work out will help you last longer without feeling exhausted and super hungry.

No More!

Just say no when it comes to processed foods. Processed foods have too much sodium (salt) in them. I copied and pasted this from an online health article : Americans and Britons consume up to 75 percent of their sodium from processed foods like tomato sauce, soups, canned foods and prepared mixes.


Too much sodium in anyone's diet could have them at risk for heart attacks.

Stroke

Doctors says women have been gaining more weight in the recent years and that women have been having more strokes also. Please be aware of this. If you are overweight now, try to lose weight so that you will not have any health problems later on in life. Take care, Fitgirl.

Flat Stomach

To get a flat stomach, first you need to eat well. You know what they say, 'You are what you eat.'

Secondly you must do cardio at least 30 minutes a day.

If you want to get a six pack abs you have to do target training. Get on your floor and do some cruches. Then bend your knees and alternate each elbow touching your knees.

Then when you are done doing that, lie perfectly flat on the floor and bring your legs up as high as you can, then slowly bring it down. You should feel a burn. Good luck, Fitgirl.

Have you been working out every day and eating right and still you see no progress? Here's what you can do to see a difference.
Get a tape measure and measure your chest, waist, legs, and arms. Write those numbers down plus the month/day/year and in a month get the tape measure again and you will see if you lost any inches. Good luck, Fitgirl.

Veggie

Are vegetarians healthier?

It depends on what you eat.

Becoming a vegetarian is very hard. Cutting out meat can be challenging for anyone and what do you eat for sources of protien? Well that's where green, leafy vegetables and salads come in.Did you know that cabbage is a great source of protien? So is peanut butter. What about taking over the counter vitamins? Should you take vitamins? I don't think so. All your vitamins are all ready in fruits and vegetables.

What ever you do, stay away from junk food. I remember when I was a kid and I became a vegetarian. Well being so young, I thought that eating a bag of chips was better than eating a hoagie sandwich and suddenly the pounds came piling on. Learn from my foolish mistake and eat as healthy as you can. Dunkin Donuts. A great place to grab a doughut at cheap price but do you know what you're really getting?

A dunkin donuts cinnamin bun is 590 calories.

A dunkin donuts chocolate chip muffin is also 590 calories.

A dunkin donuts bagel omwich sandwich is 500 calories.

A dunkin donuts buscuit with sausage, egg, and cheese is 590 calories.

And don't think you will lose alot of calories by picking something up just because it says reduced fat. A reduced fat Blueberry muffin is 450 calories.

Not So Fast

Fasting is limiting your food intake and drinking wacky drinks like cayanne pepper and lemon juice. Many stars do this to get ready for awards season, but can it work for you? My advice is no, fasting causes irritability, fainting, gas, and ultimately no weight loss. In fact once you decide to stop being so strict with yourself and eat normally once again, you will gain weight.

McDonald's 20 piece chicken mcnuggets are 840 calories

McDonald's big mac is is 560 calories

McDonald's large french fries are 570 calories

Taco Bell Fiesta salad is 860 calories

Taco Bell Mexican Pizza is 540 calories

Taco Bell Grande Soft Taco is 450 calories

Wendy's Classic Triple with toppings are 1,210 calories.

Wendy's Medium Fries are 490 calories

Wendy's Crispy Chicken sandwich is 380 calories

Wendy's Medium Vanilla Frosty is 410 calories

KFC Popcorn Chicken family size is 1,210 calories

KFC mashed potatoes with gravy is 720 calories

KFC Six pieces of boneless sweet and spicy wings are 540 calories

A slice of KFC pecan pie is 480 calories

Wow no wonder why fast food makes EVERYONE fat.

FDA

So some scientist did a study on Godiva chocolate and Russell Stover packaged chocolates for Valentines day and the scientist found cat hair and insect pieces inside of the candies. And the FDA actually allows this to happen. I am so disappointed and disgusted from this. But I doubt it will stop anyone from eating chocolate.

healthy drinks

We all know that water is the best thing to drink if you want to lose weight but hey we all need a bit of variety in life right? There are tons of healthy drinks out there.

One of my favorites is called Izze. It's sparkling water that's flavored and it tastes so good and it comes in many flavors, from clementine to blueberry. It's 120 calories per bottle.

Fat Free milk, only 100 calories per glass.

Orange juice, packed with vitamin C and it's so good how can you resist this any morning?

Apple juice is good too. If you want to watch your sugar content try an organic brand.

Carrot juice is my favorite. You may have never even thought of carrot juice as an appealing drink but try it and see if you like it. It can be found in the oraganic section of your supermarket. Take care, Fitgirl.

Get your butt moving

Healthy snacks

If you want healthy snacks here are a few yummy options.

A bowl of oatmeal. My absolute favorite! Quaker oatmeal has a huge box that can be made in 60 seconds! Awesome.

Bananas. It's a great source of protien and only about 90 - 120 calories, depending on the size of the banana.

Health Valley cookies. They are 70 percent organic and so so good!

A peanut butter sandwich.. Yes peanut butter has sugar in it and if you want to avoid too much sugar try organic peanut butter.

Reduced fat Nilla wafers. 8 cookies has only 120 calories.

quick fix?

Since I am talking about surgery, have any of you considered getting any surgery to fix a certain area of the body? Liposuction for the saddle bags, or lipo on the hips? Are you satisfied with the results?

Now I would never get any surgery because I watch way too much Dr. 90210 episodes ....seeing those plastic surgery addicts freak me out.

Frustrated

I watched Oprah yesterday and she had young teenagers on there that got gastric bypass and lap band surgery. I was blown away because aren't adults only allowed to get this surgery? Anyway so these kids got this surgery done and lost weight. I am upset because I feel like everyone should exercise and eat healthy to lose weight. Surgery is not going to fix anything because people can always gain the weight back.

Slim legs

How do you get slim legs? By doing the easiest exercise ever: Walking. If you walk at least an hour a day you will get your goal of slim legs in no time.

So now that you are eating healthy, have you banished certain foods from your diet?

Foods I suggest people kick out of their diets are: anything manufactored like cookies, chips, icecreams and candy.. because they are transfats. Transfats clog the arteries.

It's okay to have these forbidden foods once in a blue moon but not every single day.

If you want to have fantastic arms lift weights. Now ladies I know you could be thinking, 'I don't want bulky arms.' You won't get that buff because woman can't (unless they use steriods. A couple of weeks ago I caught a program on E! and it talked about all the diet fads people do to lose weight. One story that has stuck with me is a woman who took some diet pills and it caused her to have six strokes. My goodness gracious. Why would any one let themselves go through so much just to lose weight? Diet pills are not worth losing your life. If you have any amount of weight to lose do it through healthy eating and exercise. Be Creative

I know exercising everyday can get boring and tedious so try to be creative and spice up your routine. Maybe you can take a walk during your lunch break and then when you go home you can focus on doing push ups, working with resistance bands. Lifting weights, jumping jacks, jumping rope. Either way woking out is better than nothing because if you do nothing you will unfortunetly get bigger and bigger and no one wants that.
